It’s Tuesday so of course,I’m sitting at my office desk in Fernandina Beach and emailing you. Thanks for letting me be in your inbox, btw. I love writing to you each week and hope over time, I can really get to know you and your pickleball journey better.

And speaking of journey…I want to share some of the reasons that I love playing pickleball and working in the pickleball industry in the first place

First and foremost, I love working with people like you, Reader. Players who are always hunting for ways to improve their game and have more fun on the court. Players who are generous, sharing what they know so our community keeps growing stronger. And players who show up not just to win, but to get better, one rally at a time.

And I love helping these players see improvements in their games by sharing little known tips and insights they normally wouldn't come across.

Some of these are shared here in this weekly newsletter, some on the blog and podcast (which will be getting new episodes soon!), and many in structured courses (working with the great player and coach Helle Sparre) like Kitchen Domination and Dynamite Doubles.

And to think this all started for me nearly a decade ago when my tennis coach told me they were going to get certified to teach pickleball.

That innocent comment by him started me on a journey to find out more about this great game, start playing and learning all the nuances (so much to learn!), and launch the first World Pickleball Summit by meeting and working with many of the top players and coaches in the game.

Since then the courses have come out, I've hosted a 2nd World Pickleball Summit, and the journey continues!
