[PH] You're recovering wrong (and losing the next ball because of it)

Here's a positioning mistake I see constantly:

You get pulled wide off the court. You hit a great cross-court shot. Then you run straight back into the court...

And you can't get to the next ball before the second bounce.

The fix: Recover on a 90-degree diagonal angle back toward the middle, not straight in.

When you're way out here [imagine left sideline], you hit cross-court, then recover diagonally back toward center court. This covers more ground faster and puts you in position for their next shot.

Most players recover perpendicular to the sideline. That's why they're always late to the next ball.

Try this diagonal recovery in your next game. You'll be amazed how many more balls you get to.
